Since you'll lose all your Rekordbox meta data when transfering to Serato anyways, it makes more sense to just drop all the raw mp3s into playlist folders onto a usb. ALSO, edits to column data (artist name, genre, rating, etc) in Rekordbox are not always saved to the mp3's id3-tag, so changes you've made in Rekordbox to files may not be reflected on the actual file itself. The way Rekordbox exports to usb is it copies all the mp3s from where ever they are on your harddrive and sorts them by artist in a "Contents" Folder on the usb, and then saves the info about those files, waveforms, cue points, and PLAYLIST in a separate folder that is only readable by Pioneer hardware. Assuming you use Rekordbox to export to USB for you so you have all your meta data (waveforms, cue points, etc), I recommend NOT using that usb. ![]()
